Here's how my day went down...
Work stash packed:
I looked to the water bar options and found the watermelon and mint infusion to be quite enjoyable. It's actually reallyfreakkinggood! So along with that delicious mixture...
Breakfast: I had the same thing as yesterday. 1 Red of Yogurt and 1 Yellow of whole grain cereal. What? It's good I can't help it. (stop making that face)
I skipped snacks today because I had a meeting and couldn't get away until it was time for lunch anyway.
Lunch looked like this:
1 Red of chicken breast baked in EVOO and approved spices (paprika, garlic powder and parsley). 1 Green of a mixture of boiled cabbage, carrots, celery and green beans.
I know what your thinking... That's soup... No, not really. I didn't use any broth or salts or spices. This is strictly veggies boiled in water until softened.
Moving on. MAN! It was so good! I even loaded my little orange container with mustard, an all you can eat food, and it definetly added some good flavor.
For an afternoon snack I devoured 1 purple of a strawberry and watermelon mix as well as 1 blue of Almonds (no cashews today, wink).
I took a nice afternoon walk at work. A little over a mile. Had to stretch my legs. It's certainly empowering that many people in my office also take walks or jog on their breaks too.
I did have an afternoon coffee. By this time I had about 40oz of water. I've been a good girl, I deserve a coffee, dang it!
When I got home I had 1/2 Red of 3 slices of Turkey and a few teeny pieces of pineapple... Didn't really count as a whole or even half of a Purple.
I made my little spawns dinner and then worked on mine. It looked like this:
1 Red, a can of albacore tuna. 2 Greens of Sautéed Spinach and tomatoes (in lemon juice) and 1 slice of cucumber. I also incorporated 1 yellow of whole wheat crackers. I added parsley, basil and balsalmic vinegar to the tuna.
I do love me some balsalmic on tuna. It's like they were ment to be together. One day some guy was sitting there like, "Man I like Tuna but I need something that would make it better" and poof. He made Balsalmic vinegar. These things happen all the time, remember the light bulb?
Never mind. I lost you.
Come Baaak!
I want to reiterate how amazingly delicious this infusion was:
Try it. Just do it.
Tonight I did "The Dirty 30" a workout that was meant to be more intense. It was.
I am proud to say I powered through it!
Day 7 down! 14 more to go!
I got this. Cheers!
